David L. Kenney

Canton – David L. Kenney, 64, of Canton, went to be with his heavenly father and is at peace on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 5:30 PM at Graham Hospital. He was born on January 9, 1953 in Pekin to Burl and Metria (Lee) Kenney.

Surviving are four brothers, Orville Kenney of Canton, George (Kay) Kenney of Canton, Dale (Sheila) Kenney of Farmington, and Paul Kenney of Farmington; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Everett Kenney, and one sister, Donna Kenney.

David worked at Greenwood Cemetery. He was a well-Liked man and had a heart of gold. David had a lot of friends and was like by many.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Convenient Community Church in Canton where a luncheon will follow. Cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Memorials can be made to Wells Fargo in care of funeral expenses.     Sending thoughts and prayers to his family. Dave was a good friend of my Dad’s. I have so many good memories of Dave when I was kid. He was always like an Uncle to me and my brother Toby. He will be deeply missed. Rest easy, Uncle Dave.
