Many years ago, I had a playmate a couple of years older than I at St. David, IL. We lived at the farthest east point of the community on each side of the highway and railroad track. We had a lot of fun together and shared a couple of years at Canton High School before I lost track of him. Teaching positions from one place to another has located me in Northern Nevada. Strange I was thinking of him just yesterday and then happend to look on Canton Daily Ledger on line today. We had a lot of fun together. He is about the right age to be my “Pete Black” My condolences to the family sincerely.

  7. My 2nd try to send. Did not respond lst time. Pete and I were good Jr. High and High School age friends many years ago at St. David. I had lost track of him but have good memories of even that far back. It’s been so long I probably have had no mention from him but we did have fun and good memories from then even now. My sincere condolences.
