Mildred F. Isbell

Hanna City – Mildred F. Isbell, 88, of Hanna City, passed away at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Farmington Country Manor. She was born on August 16, 1928 in Breeds, IL to Harry and Mary (Hedge) Whitworth. She married Roy Isbell on September 29, 1946 in Hanna City, IL, he preceded her in death on June 23, 2006.

Mildred was also preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are three children, Donna (Marly) Sipes of Rushville, IL, Neal Isbell of Hanna City, IL, and Jeannie (Ken) McCoy of Hanna City, IL; nine grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Mildred was a member of the Hanna City United Methodist Church and was an active member in the United Methodist Women.

Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington, where a visitation will be held from 10-11 AM. Rev. Jeremy Lafary will officiate. Burial will follow the services at Smithville Cemetery in Smithville, IL. Memorials can be made to Hanna City United Methodist Church or Hanna City Fireman’s Corporation.     Mildred was a wonderful person. She loved her family very much they meant the world to her, she will be missed very much. A lot of good memories living next to her and Roy when we were younger.
