Sandra L. Fleisher

Dunlap – Sandra L. Fleisher, 73, of Dunlap, passed away peacefully at home at 6:30 PM on Thursday, January 4, 2018. She was born on October 10, 1944 in Peoria to James and Geneva (Corrie) Scott. She married Thomas “Tom” Fleisher on July 11, 1975 in Peoria, IL, he survives.

Also surviving are four children, Tracy Lee, Brian Lee, David Lee, and Adrian Fleisher; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Lou Conn and Paula Conn; several nieces; and lifelong friends, Joan (Richard) Faulkner-Owen.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents.

Sandra first worked at Hiram Walker in Peoria and later at Venture Department Store. She then relocated to Arizona in 1984 to work for America West Airlines. Once retired in 2009 they returned to Peoria. She was a member of the Elks Emblem Club. Sandra enjoyed family functions, walking her dogs, and loved bowling in her younger years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. The family wishes to thank OSF Hospice for the loving care they provided in her final days.

Per Sandra’s wishes there will be no services. Cremation rites will be accorded with Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington, IL. Burial of ashes will be held at a later date.
